6 Steps to Rehabilitation
STEP 1 : CONSULTATION
The addict or guardian has the initial consultation with a Change consultant over phone or in person. Once this has been carried out, the patient can be omitted into treatment within 24 hours, unless an intervention is required.
STEP 2 : INTERVENTION
Where necessary, an Interventionist will speak to the family the night before and prepare them for an intervention.
STEP 3 : ADMISSION
The patient will be taken through all the necessary health checks and will be provided with all the details relating to their treatment and rehabilitation.
STEP 4 : DETOX
With any substance addiction, a detox is necessary for the first 5 to 14 days before any rehabilitation can take place.
STEP 5 : REHAB
The addict goes through the treatment process. An initial 28 days of primary care, then three to six months of secondary care. Change will make every effort to help the process run smoothly throughout and at all times communicate with the family quickly and efficiently.
STEP 6 : AFTERCARE
Finally the addict returns home and begins his recovery outside of treatment. They start to rebuild relationships and life. They will have aftercare support. One to One Counseling will also be on offer if desired. Continued meetings attendance is vital.
