A new rehab center is to open in the Cayman Islands this June and it could attract plenty of celebrities due to its quiet location away from the stresses and strains of modern life.
The Caymanian Compass reports the new rehab clinic could become a favourite among celebrities because it is far removed from their Hollywood lifestyles and will provide a relaxing environment to help them concentrate on beating their addiction.
Philip McGlass, spokesperson for the privately-owned Hutland Drug and alcohol abuse Center, told the newspaper the clinic will focus on gardening activities as a way to help people tackle their problems.
"Our founders believe the act of nurturing a garden helps overcome the cravings of addiction," he explained.
He added: "All vegetables and flowers grown at the clinic will be sold on in the local market under the label Celebrities for Abstinence."
Many addiction treatment centers look to outdoor pursuits and other activities to provide strenuous exercise to patients, as a way to help them beat their addiction problems.
The Mountainside Treatment Center in Connecticut takes patients out for long walks through the mountains and forests of the local area to help them overcome their addictions and to bond with each other.
