Bars, clubs and pubs will be visited to try and lower the amount of cocaine use in these drinking gatherings. The team of professionals will be testing the areas for the drug, using some methods that the human eye can't see. About 15% of the bars had cocaine traces in them. Many others may have cleaned up the place well before being searched.
The locations that have traces of cocaine in them will be given a warning not to fail the tests again. Their licences may be threatened on the next visit.
The staff and owners are being advised to prevent further drug use by using methods such as laying the surfaces with chemicals that will melt the substance. Toilets must be visited regularly. A government spokesman mentioned that measure's to limit the drug problem in the club scene would be taken seriously. The clubs will be punished accordingly if the view that the owners of these bars are not complying with the problem at hand.
Cocaine is an illegal drug and is a messy drug also. Addiction to this drug is very common and the institutions that welcome it should be aware of the consequences.
The cocaine problem the country faces is increasing.
