Mr. Shah, 32, flew to Islamabad, Pakistan following being charged at the police station with assault, soon after he landed on his return to the UK he was caught by police at Manchester Airport.
Earlier at a court, Shah, heard how the earlier assault allegation will be dropped after he owned up to a smaller charge of another assault for causing A.B.H (actual bodily harm) to the victim.
At Crown Court, Shah was sentenced and has been given a 12-month supervision order and was also to go on a drug rehabilitation course for the same period. The prosecutor told how the victim, passed out during the assault, which took place in 2006. As a result Mr Shah being high on a cocktail of drugs and has a Heroin problem and problems with crack cocaine and Cannabis.
Later Shah was caught by the police and charged with the assault in August 2006, before he fled the country as a fugitive.
At the first Crown Court hearing, the court heard that the powerful establishment in use at the foreign drug rehab center was proving very triumphant.
Earlier in the year, after his return and subsequent to his detainment at Manchester Airport, Shah also had to be charged with the offence of jumping bail and therefore was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison.
The lawyer informed the judge of the time already served that added up to 11 month behind bars.
