rehab clinics must provide people struggling with alcohol and drug addiction problems the chance to learn about themselves, a treatment centre asserts.
Describing withdrawal and detox as a "learning process", Malibu Drug and Alcohol rehab (MDAR) says it offers its patients an "ideal recovery environment".
The clinic describes itself as a highly respected treatment centre which is based on the California coast.
It calls the process of alcohol rehabilitation "difficult" and something which "takes hard work", saying the healing process is challenging for even the most determined patient.
"Only by achieving meaningful peace of mind in a tranquil, secluded environment can you expect to successfully complete your recovery journey," MDAR states.
Identifying the detox period as the most challenging part of the recovery process, the rehab centre states the area where this is experienced can have an effect on its success.
Recently, the SouthCoast recovery clinic announced it would be launching a course designed to help those with a drug addiction problem centred around Adderall.
It claims this substance can leave users with a higher risk of cardiovascular disorders and for reasons of cost is often used by those with crystal meth and cocaine abuse issues.
