An awareness raising event is to be held to teach property owners the telltale signs that property is being used to grow cannabis drugs.
The event will highlight the destructive impact that the crime can have on local communities as well as property.
It will also offer advice to landlords who think that their property is being used by drug gangs.
The seminar is being organised by Greater Manchester Police and will take place at the City of Manchester Stadium on the morning of 11th June.
Dozens of property owners have already signed up.
Chief superintendent Steven Hartley said: "We are committed to stopping drugs blighting communities and ruining lives and bringing the criminals that spread this misery to justice."
Awareness raising schemes are already in place, warning young people through youth clubs and schools about the dangers of drug use and crime.
According to Drug Scope, cannabis is the most commonly used illegal drug. In many areas of the UK, by the age of 16 a majority of young people may have tried the drug at least once, according to the organisation.
